Joe Gibbs Racing announced Wednesday that Dave Rogers, crew chief of the No. 19 team driven by rookie Daniel Suarez in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, is taking an indefinite personal leave from the team.
The team didn't announce any details on Rogers' absence, other than JGR Xfinity Series crew chief Scott Graves will head Suarez's team for "an indefinite period of time."

Graves served as crew chief for Suarez in the Xfinity Series, helping guide JGR's No. 19 team to the championship and three victories last season.
Since becoming a crew chief in NASCAR's Cup series late in 2010, Rogers has earned 18 victories with drivers Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Carl Edwards.
Suarez is currently 19th in the points after earning back-to-back seventh-place finishes at Phoenix and Auto Club Speedway.
