HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. - NASCAR superstar Carl Edwards is leaving Joe Gibbs Racing and will not compete in 2017, according to a report from Fox Sports' Tom Jensen.
The move, which has sent a major shockwave through NASCAR circles, is expected to be made official during a Wednesday morning press conference at Joe Gibbs Racing. According to Jensen, Edwards is going to be replaced by 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Daniel Suarez.
